Services

Electrical Engineering, Vessel Upgrades, and Newbuild

We offer electrical engineering, retrofit, refit, renovation, and newbuild integration services.

Depending on the scope, this can include propulsion, helm controls, display/app, electrical distribution and cabling, batteries, charging equipment, installation documentation, and commissioning.

Useful project inputs

  • Vessel data and available installation space
  • Target speed, duty profile, and operating use
  • Expected onboard loads and charging requirements
  • Preferred helm layout, station concept, and integration constraints

Electrical engineering

Electrical architecture and wiring documentation

Depending on the vessel and project stage, electrical engineering can include defining consumers, distribution and cabling, setting up protection strategies, creating interfaces, and preparing the installation documents needed to transition from concept to implementation.

  • Definition of onboard consumers and electrical architecture
  • High- and low-voltage distribution across battery, propulsion, charging, and onboard systems
  • Pre-designed, assembled, and labelled cabling
  • Cable route planning, cable preparation, and installation logic
  • Fuse and protection concept for major system branches
  • Connectors, junction points, and distribution planning
  • Integration of propulsion, charger, battery, display, and helm controls
  • Digital switching and touchscreen-based control
  • Blueprints, wiring documentation, and commissioning support
  • Coordination with renovation teams, shipyards, or boatbuilders

Retrofit, Refit & Renovation

Technical refit and restoration for existing vessels

The scope can involve a focused retrofit, a broader refit, or a complete renovation. In these cases, technical changes, usability, finish, and the vessel's character are addressed as one.

Retrofit

Adding or replacing major technical systems in an existing vessel while working with the existing space and layout, and respecting the vessel's character.

Refit

Modernization of an existing boat where various aspects like technical equipment, helm layout, interior, usability, etc., are being considered.

Renovation

Restoring the condition and character of the vessel, including wooden structures, finishes, upholstery, chrome, hardware, and other details.

Newbuild integration

Complete system for new vessels

For new builds, we can support the project early enough so that we can plan propulsion, batteries, charging, helm controls, displays, digital switching, and electrical layout together instead of making changes later.

This applies to boat builders, yards, and custom projects where system simplicity, ease of service, and clean installation are part of the vessel's overall design.

In-House Craft: NTone 710

Our team has a lot of experience in electric and hybrid propulsion systems. We have spent years working on complex yacht integrations and electrical engineering projects. With this knowledge and strong in-house skills, we designed, built, and equipped our own NTone710 from the ground up.

  • 40 to 80 kW propulsion
  • 32 to 47 kWh battery capacity
  • Custom upholstery and hull colours
  • Multiple propulsion and battery configurations
