Electrifying Your Inboard Propulsion
NT Systems is a compact turnkey electric propulsion system for commercial and leisure applications with a continuous power range from 40 kW up to 450 kW. Our electric propulsion systems are designed for easy service, require low maintenance, and can be installed on various drive units. The propulsion is designed in a way that requires only connecting the power supply, communication cables, and seawater for cooling, making it ready for operation.

Why Choose NT Systems?
A key advantage of our systems: optimized operation for maximum efficiency. This is achieved through a combination of features and right-sized components: optimized cooling maintains a stable operating temperature, an in-house developed Electronic Control Unit (ECU) manages system's functions for optimal performance, and the pre-assembled, single-unit design minimizes installation time and ensures proper component configuration. Our systems are an ideal choice for applications where space and weight are critical factors, without compromising on performance.
Direct Drive or Gearbox Version
Our systems feature a built-in thrust bearing, allowing for direct shaft mounting and use of the propulsion system in a direct drive configuration out of the box. This simplifies installation for applications where direct drive is preferred. Additionally, the systems are compatible with various marine gearboxes. Mounting a gearbox allows you to adjust the output RPM and torque to your specific needs.
In-Depth Look: Direct Drive and Gearbox Assemblies
Explore a detailed breakdown of the system's components and their assembly. You'll also gain insights into gearbox mounting.
Pre-assembled propulsion unit includes:
- Electric motor with built-in thrust bearing
- Motor controller/inverter
- Electronic control unit (ECU)
- Electrical and water plugs
- Cooling system: heat exchangers, pumps for inner and outer circle, water strainer, flow through expansion tank
- Frame and engine mounts
Through this 3D animation, you'll discover:

Multiple-motor Installations
The design supports multiple-motor installations and thus increasing the propulsion power, which expands modes of applications and usefulness. Stacking the systems to a quadruple set can easily provide 1800 kW (2400 HP) or more if necessary.
